In Denmark: "Hiring Now!" I was in Copenhagen yesterday. As I passed Seven-Eleven, which is common in Sweden too, there was a sign saying that they wanted young people to work there. I also passed a place where they sold ice-cream saying that they needed people. This is something you don′t see in Sweden and it′s much like the "hiring now"-signs in the US. In Denmark, there are lots of new jobs - and they have a very de-regulated labour market. Companies dare to hire people - and they can afford it. If Sweden had had the same groeth rate as Denmark since 1970, the average Swede would have an income which would be SEK 5000 (600 euro) higher - a month. This is what growth brings, and a de-regulated labour market.
