"With All Due Repect, Mr President, That Is Not True." In a panel discussion on TV this morning, a colleague said to me that all economists agree that a stimulus package from the US government is needed. That is also what President Obama has claimed. However, as this full-page ad shows, several hundred leading academic economists in the US do not agree.
