Not What We Are Used To. Europe now seems far less Keynesian than the US:

"The expectation that we could neutralise this ­synchronised recession through short-term fiscal policy measures is false. We should not even try. There will be costs."

Alex Weber, President of Germany′s Bundesbank, in a response to requests from the US that Europe should stimulate the economy more.
