The Pendulum Swings... Directly after the crisis, most policians turned into new-born Keynesians. Big government and public spending would sort things out. Now, the countries that went down that path have the greatest problems. There have been several turns in the opposite direction. The latest country for a u-turn is Britain, with the new government. Finally, they are launching sensible policies.
